If you leave a negative review, (like I did) on Yelp, you will get harassing messages from the owner. I received messages saying she will F*ck me up, multiple messages hoping I get my throat slashed, etc... The way this place is run, is insane. Here is my throat slash worthy review. The Best Occult Shop – This is definitely the best occult shop in the U.S., and no, I'm not exaggerating. Panpipes Magickal Marketplace is by far the very best occult shop. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their apothecary is amazing - a huge collection of the most exquisite oils, herbs, and resins. Lots of candles, beautiful jewelry and talismans, tarot decks; they also offer classes and host rituals. The atmosphere in Panpipes is peaceful and tranquil. I love this store!

Best occult store in LA – I love this store. Love their candle dressing and it's mostly the reason i've been going there so far. I have to say i've had great results every time. I've also had my birth chart done for the year and it is a very detailed, extensive report, very happy with it. It's a great store who caters to every belief, and both owners are very nice and knowledgeable. i definitely recommend Panpipes.

If you need it, they will find it for you – The owners are the sweetest ladies i have ever met and just overflowing with knoledge. Their public rituals and always great fun. I can spend hours in there talking and looking then forget what i can in for because i find so many other things i like but i am never presured to buy anything! And they know all the great spots in the area to visit!

The owners – The below listing is really funny as the owners are two women that are married to each other. I know that if your an idiot to them, they call you on it. So carny must be a real idiot :) It's inappropriate for this dude to bring on a private fight but whatever drama queen!! The store is really cool and I've always been treated really nice there. Maybe morons need not apply :) BTW...thanks for the success candle - IT WORKED GIRLS!!!!

From the owner of Panpipes via MySpace... – I wrote an email to the owner, asking why he was protesting an pro-peace rally being held near his store. I obviously got too close to his own issues, because this is the reply he sent me: "Here's the thing as owner of Panpipes....you are blocked off this list and don't bring your as* in here if you don't like us...I remember you and I don't like you at all...ever...you were an ugly little flaming man." Best Occult Store – It has the largest selection of pure essential oils anyway. The staff are fully trained alchemists and practitioners so they can help you make anything from incenses, to a custom oils, bathsalts, lotions, bath gels and candles. It really is one of the best occult stores I have ever been to. It has a huge selection of herbs too. Lots of magickal ritual gear. The staff is friendly and try to teach as well as empower. Best Occult Store – Oldest occult store in the nation. Serving all crowds. It has weird and wonderful items. Need to see to experience the whole atmosphere. Carry alot of the rare items. The most knowledgable staff. And the largest selection of true and real apothecary oils and herbs, baths and incenses.
