Penne rustica is a warm and inviting atmosphere… It’s different at lunch and dinner. This is probably the most underrated restaurant in Tampa. Food is on one hand strong and dependable and on the other hand can offer you refreshing culinary surprises. Solid menu, solid bar and solid service. From the top down this place is consistent and excellent. Consistency is one of the hardest values to pull off in the restaurant business in this place has it. Nailed. Merry Christmas to one and all

Wonderful relaxing meal with friends!
We ordered take out last night from Pane Rustica and had a wonderful experience. When we initially got home with our order, one of the items was incorrect. I called and they told me no problem at all, just come back. My correct item was ready in the time it took me to drive back-only five minutes. When I arrived everyone was so nice and apologized more than necessary. They even sent me away with some delicious cookies and fresh baked rye bread. The dinner was delicious, as always.
