Disgusting! We ordered take-out and got the General Tsaos chicken which had a very strange plastic smokey taste. I had sat down to eat and heard my sister scraping the friend rice into the trash because there were long spider legs in it!
TERRIBLE SERVICE – I had a night with friends staying home and watching a movie when we decided to order Chinese food. We ordered 3 dinner meals. We waited an hour and twenty minutes until it was delivered. The delivery driver didn't knock or ring the doorbell; he just turned the handle and walked in!! It scared us all. Panda Restaurant is okay I wasn't overly impressed with my food. The waitress was very nice, but it is small and crowded. I would recommend it to others, since my husband thought it was good.
Can't miss it I travel through Anchorage quite often and never miss a chance for take out from this place. My wife was born here and can't stand the fact that I get to enjoy this place so often while she can only visit once or twice a year. Great service, wonderful food and reasonable prices.
Best Hot Peppered Pork anywhere – We eat out every weekend. This is the only Chinese restaurant we eat at since the Bear Paw in Eagle River changed ownership. They should put more tofu in the hot and sour soup and they should let you know how large their portions are. I meal can feed 2 people. Don't even think about getting soup an entree and egg roll you can't eat it all
While the atmosphere may not scream fine dining, this comfortable, family-friendly, restaurant is by far the best Chinese food option in Alaska. They are consistently satisfying with fresh, hot, entrees, good service, and fair prices. They've been voted top 10 if not the BEST place to dine by Press Picks, Anchorage Daily News, and even by U.S.A. Today! You will not be dissapointed.
VERY SCARY – Would never eat there because of food handling practices. Seen them putting there chicken raw cut up in cardboard box on the floor where everyone was stepping over it.
If you're in anchorage It's a must go!!! The Panda Restaurant is the best place to get Chinese food in Anchorage. I go there about once a week and love it every time. You don't get a small amount of food when you go there, when I go I get an amount food to have a small take-home box of food. The staff is very friendly and the food is normally priced.
