I would never use Vacassa again!! We stayed at a condo in Panams City Beach and were greeted in the master suite by a locked master bedroom closet! The owners kept all of their valuables in it, and we had no place to keep our dresses and suits for 10 days. The 3D photo showed a closet and when we asked for a reasonable refund, we were given 3.5% back. Mere chump change. The rental we stayed in here was so run down. Its like they haven't maintained the unit since they took ownership of it or something. We stayed in 108w and the place was filthy when we got there and the towel racks and appliances in the kitchen were falling apart. The pullout couch bed was disgusting and terrible quality even for a couch bed. They also didnt have enough of anything stocked for us to have the week we booked. We stayed in Carillon Beach through Vacasa but they don't have a Google business profile set up or anyone to contact when you need help. Hopefully this will get their attention because I have been hounding them for a month trying to get forgotten items shipped back to us. When I initially contacted them they said they have a process in place to ship the items back promptly. Worst experience with a property management company ever!!! I hired Vacasa to manage my property for short term rentals and here are few details of my experience: 1- They charge hidden fees and lie about it when asked. They first told me these were fees deducted by a third party, until I escalated the issue for them to finally admit it was them who deducted these fees. 2- My property received the worst reviews on Airbnb for lack of cleanliness that led to my listing termination. I booked through Vacasa (which I will never do again). Despite arriving after check-in time, it took over 30 minutes to gain access to the condo. We had groceries that needed refrigeration, and the delay was incredibly frustrating. I was told I’d receive some form of compensation for the inconvenience, but I never did. I even followed up and was completely ignored. It’s nice they are on standby and you can text them, but they are not really helpful.
