Small menu. Waitress was assigned too many tables, in my opinion. Watching the sunset over the sound was pretty neat.
We try to eat here at least one evening every year we visit OBX. There’s usually a wait at dinner time, but that’s expected. The food is always great. This years visit was one of the best. There were at least 5 parties of 5 or more when we arrived. There were two gentlemen and a young lady making efforts to get people seated right away and we had a table within 5 minutes. Our waitress was first rate. I think her name was Alena. She was from Brazil and told our kids several stories about Brazil and made the evening most enjoy... read more
I just had my wedding here, both ceremony and reception. I have to say I couldn't have wished for a better day. Both Mary Ann and Doug were so accommodating and open to requests and changes. They went above and beyond to provide a beautiful atmosphere and the food was so good. And their staff was just amazing. Super attentive. Everyone raved about how beautiful it was and how great the food was, so much so that some members of our family were disappointed with other meals that we had at other restaurants later in the week. We went to Pamlico Jack's tonight for my birthday dinner. It was perfect. We were greeted the minute we walked in & sat right away. Our waitress Deana was very sweet & very attentive. The food...so good! Enjoyed the beautiful view on the soundside. We will definitely be back!
We went to Pamlico Jacks for the first time this weekend. We enjoyed it. We were greeted when we walked in, seated, and our server promptly waited on us. The service overall was good. Casual atmosphere. I ordered the High Sea Sauté and it was delicious. Our family enjoyed the food all around. We will be returning again on one of our next adventures to the Outer Banks.
Wonderful atmosphere, staff and food! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our waitress was the absolute best and the food was delicious!
We went ‘early bird’ at about 4:30. There was absolutely no wait. Joe was our waiter, very cool and attentive. We sat at the window, great view. The ‘shrimp and grits’ was amazing. Hubby said his meatloaf was great too. (He said not as good as mine, but I think he’s lying. lol).
Most stressful meal I’ve ever had. Poor service, incredibly slow, and the food wasn’t that great. The staff all had a poor disposition which resulted in angry customers. There was a loud, dramatic scene between staff members at the hostess stand that left everyone on edge. Some people walked out, some people never got waited on, and some people waited an hour and a half for their food after ordering. My family will never be back.
Fantastic shrimp and grits, fabulous she crab soup, and a cucumber gin and tonic! Top it of with great service from Nick! I’ll be back!
