I had the shrimp and grits which were nicely done in a red eye gravy, my son's Caribbean glazed meatloaf was given high praise and my othe son commented that his filet mignon was top notch. My wife was unable to finish the large portion seafood medley she got and took the balance home along with scrumptious sweet potato biscuits we didn't finish. Highly recommend this place for the food, service and ambiance.

Had a large part of 20 on the deck. The service was horrible. Some of us didn’t get our drinks until the food came out. Some of us didn’t get our food until the others were finished (30 minutes later). Servers never came back for 2nd round of drinks. The waitress screwed up the bill and tried to charge us an additional tip after the tip was included for the large party. Only time we saw the management was when the bill was screwed up. Never again!!!
Just had dinner at Pamlico Jacks where the service was horrible. The food was also very bland. I asked for extra hollandaise and it took over 20 minutes. Nephew had to wait over 30 minutes for a kids fried shrimp. Wine was, apparently, mostly sold out. Last bottle of wine, the waitress put on the table and said “here you go.” I went in and spoke to manager. He said he would check on it. Never did he come out to check on us or apologize.
