She came into the room sure of her diagnosis before she even spoke with me and proceeded to diagnose me with a condition for which I have no symptoms and ignored the symptoms I have which contradict the diagnosis. All the manipulations she tried in the office for that condition failed to produce the reactions that would support her diagnosis and instead of changing her diagnosis, she decided that I must just be presenting that condition differently. Horrible bedside manner. Has an attitude and definitely appears to not care about patients. The two visits I’ve had with her have gone like this - asks what’s wrong in a bored fashion, diagnoses you within 5 seconds, tells you what you’re gonna do (doesn’t explain anything), and leaves. She’s misdiagnosed me once before and everything I’ve heard and seen is the poorest and most unprofessional care I’ve ever received. I saw Pam Bird for a throat infection this past spring. Since childhood I have been prone to strep. When I get it I usually run a high fever within a few days so ai have leaned to get seen early. At the appointment I declined a throat culture since I have a high deductable plan and the treatment is the same. Pam didnt like the way I advocated for myself.
