Debra Jadwin was a godsend. I happened to stumble upon her when looking at a specific Kiawah Island condo and she was incredible through the whole buying process, as an incredible advocate. I was going through the process long distance so it was really amazing to have her as my boots on the ground. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to get answers jumping through hoops! We have even become friends through this process!

Kiawah is gorgeous and the two houses that we rented through Pam Harrington Exclusives were both beautifully appointed but the management group is exceedingly difficult to work with. After months of planning for a large reunion that required 2 neighboring houses, we received notification that one of the houses would no longer be available because "the owners decided to use the home for their personal use." The Windswept Villa rentals are not worth it. I paid $3000/week for a tiny 1 bedroom only to arrive to find no toilet paper, no dishwashing or dishwasher detergent, many lights that do not work, cheap towels, a very dangerous (and old) stove - indeed, the entire condo was old and very dated. It is clear the owners and management company are attempting to maximize profit with as little investment/maintenance as possible. And renters for anywhere on Kiawah should be told prior to arrival that they are second class citizens. On... read more

We were downgraded to a house half the size 3 weeks before our arrival. Our party is 11 people so the 50% smaller house decreased our value a lot more than the tiny partial refund and required my son to sleep on an air mattress. It’s Covid so these things happen but…. On arrival the house was dirty and with out basic necessities such as; broom, vacuum, mop, dish towels, working grill, enough linen, or laundry detergent. The stove is broken, the toaster only half works and the laundry is so small it only holds three towels... read more
