About this business

Located inside the City Centre building, this elegant bistro has rose-colored blown glass covering its walls and ceiling. Patrons dine in the sometimes noisy lounge or get a quick meal in the cafe area. The area across the escalator is better suited to formal lunches and dinners. The specialty is wood-oven roasting. The menu offers lamb shank, paella and oven-roasted jumbo prawns. Also try the gourmet pizzas or a Chop Chop Salad. For dessert enjoy traditional tiramisu, white chocolate ice cream or pear bread pudding.

Plain and simple.......I went there for a nice easy meal and ended up getting food poisoning.... be careful Seattle.

Business response:

Hi Greg, We would love for the opportunity to speak with you about your experience. If you could give the restaurant a call at your convenience and ask to speak with a manager it would be appreciated. Thank you!

The 2 star review is due to food quality. Would have been zero if not for decent customer service. We ordered the bruschetta to start, with me ordering the chicken parmesan, my wife the seafood fettuccine. The main courses arrived before the starters (which we did mentioned we wanted to start with) so we ended up canceling that. The waitress was accommodating and cancelled the bruschetta without fuss. She even brought us bread (we declined earlier, since we had the starter coming). Both entrees pasta were poorly cooked, with... read more

Hi Wallace, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience this evening. I am disappointed to hear that we did not execute our normal high standards of timing and food quality and I sincerely apologize for that. I would love for the opportunity to speak with you further about your experience. If you can email me at mconnally@r-u-i.com I would greatly appreciate it. Warm regards, Marci Connally -Manager

Well not sure how I feel about this review because we were meeting a big party here before going to the WAC Jubilee and we only had one drink each. That said my coke was wrong it was brought as a diet and it took a very long time to get 2 drinks , the ladies across from us ordered dinner. One dinner was brought out and she ate her whole meal before the second lady’s dinner a burger was ever brought out! WHAT ????! The bar was very crowded and they didn’t seem to care to take care of anyone it was very disorganized and the em... read more

We had an wonderful evening, amidst the craziness of people gathered for the caroling competition of Figgy Pudding, holiday shopping, and those going to shows, like us. The restaurant and bar was beyond packed, but we were seated within minutes of our 6:30 reservation. While we were delayed in receiving our beverages, we received assurances from our wonder waitress, Bre, that she was on it and would ensure we would have plenty of time to get to the 5th Avenue for the showing of Holiday Inn. My two children were treating me t... read more

They should have been more prepared for the activities in Seattle. I sent the crab and artichoke dip back because it was fishy tasting. Could not even taste the artichoke. The did bring a different appetizer which was great. The bean soup wasn’t hot and I make better bean soup than that. The chicken Marsala.....the seasoned pasta was good but the chicken was barely this side of cooked. Still stringy and chewy. I had to put a flashlight up to it because I thought it was raw. In all fairness they did comp the appetizer but our... read more

Found the place by accident, what a fabulous find! Our servers and hostesses were the best of the best. The food was amazing! Have to return before leaving Seattle. Don’t eat too much bread and save room for dessert 🍮
