Located inside the City Centre building, this elegant bistro has rose-colored blown glass covering its walls and ceiling. Patrons dine in the sometimes noisy lounge or get a quick meal in the cafe area. The area across the escalator is better suited to formal lunches and dinners. The specialty is wood-oven roasting. The menu offers lamb shank, paella and oven-roasted jumbo prawns. Also try the gourmet pizzas or a Chop Chop Salad. For dessert enjoy traditional tiramisu, white chocolate ice cream or pear bread pudding.

long happy hour, great chop salad – This place has my favorite chop salad in the city. They have great pizza and flat bread on their happy hour as well as a pomegrante margarita, draft beers, wine and other choices. They recently went through a rebranding experience which is sad to me - they now feel a little bit like a knock-off of a tom douglas experience. I enjoyed palomino better before. On the plus side, their happy hour does go until 8 right now - check with happy hour site gotime for current hours and offerings
Great Happy Hour – The perfect place for happy hour! They have $5 pizzas that are really good! Nice bar area with long tables if your with a bunch of people.
alright – Overall i thought my experience was okay. But the server had multiple times forgot about us.
Great Food, Good(ish) Service – Our family went to Palomino's for our parents 50th Anniversary. There were 9 of us, so a pretty large party. We had a 9:30 pm reservation, so it was quite late when we went and not many patrons were there eating, so I thought the waiter should be overwhelmingly attentive. However he seemed... distracted. When he first came he gave us the run down on the specials, then disappeared. Upon returning my mother asked for him to repeat the specials and he said, "They are on the menu." WHAT THE.... unique atmosphere masks average food – I'd gotten a $75 gift card to Palomino's. And boy am I glad I went with a gift card because after being touted by many as an awesome place for food, my wife and I came away with the feeling if we had paid with our own money we would have gotten only average food for an expensive bill. I had the Paella, which was served EXTREMELY HOT, so much so that I burnt myself twice on the metal and my wife ordered the Sea Bass. The Paella was spiced, so that whenever I ate the rice with the seafood... read more
I'm in love – I'm not sure what it is about this place that has made me fall so deeply in love with it. The tomato basil pizza is so totally rockin' and the menu in general is amazing. Happy hour is awesome - if you can find a seat. Dinner is not cheap but the food is prepared exceptionally well. Great date spot too!
I regularly go to Palomino with a group of friends. We've always had great service. And I think the food is great. They have a nice mix of pricepoints - you can choose anything from a burger on the bar menu to something from the restaurant menu. The pecan crusted blue cheese salad is delectable. The sausage and mushroom pizza has the right mix of cheese, toppings and tomato sauce. The desserts are awesome. Bread pudding or chocolat volcano are probably my favorites.
Pleasantly surprised – We booked reservations here because it was close to the 5th ave and a friend rec'd it. I was worried that it was be a glorified cheesecake factory because it is a national chain. I found the menu interesting and had a hard time choosing due to such good options. The service was pretty good eventhough the place was very busy. The food was excellent. The cheese fondue appetizer was VERY tasty. We also had a chopped salad and duck confit which were both also very nice. I'll go back in a heartbeat.
Good pizza, but horrible service – Ok, I admit the pizza was really good. but when you go out for a happy hour, the bad service can turn that into a "not so happy hour", no matter how good the food was. Tell me that I am picky about service, but I am not sure why we have some people do not know how to serve. So, I was late for my party, my friend already had some food and drink when I got there, before even I hardly sat down, the waitress came over ask me what drink to order, I told her just a sec, she did not come back unti... read more
