Last weekend Slidell High's Class of 1974 had a 40 year reunion here. Palmetto's was the perfect venue for this event.

Great place with amazing food and beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant. It was nice having live jazz music while I was eating too.

Passed through Slidell and stumbled upon this place, wonderful lunch and people, beautiful atmosphere. If i didn't live so far away I would become a regular!
Beautiful place. Today was our first time there. We had the brunch buffet and sat outside on the upper deck overlooking the bayou. The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating. The personalized omelet station was my favorite. First time I ever remember having grits and grillades. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back!!!

My nephew got married there. Very nice setting and excellent food and drnks1 would recommend for wedding, reception, etc.
Me and my wife went here today for lunch.The atmosphere was great,the prices are right.The food was awesome!!!!
