We stumbled upon Palmettos by chance. The service was great, the food delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be making plans to visit again. Highly recommended!
This cozy restaurant is has great atmosphere, excellent wait staff and the food was excellent. We were there as a last minute choice and are so glad we went. The cucumber basil lemonade was so good! I had the catch of the day of drum fish and I was in heaven! We will definitely go back!
I grew up in Slidell. It was nice to come back and experience great creole cooking along with all the memories of my youth. The shrimp and tasso grits were divine and the turtle soup was as good or better than what I've had in New Orleans. My thanks to the chef and wait staff. Exceptional.

I hosted a bridal shower at Palmettos yesterday and it was wonderful. Brittany, the event coordinator, was so easy to work with and handled every detail perfectly. The wait staff and bartenders were ALL so friendly and went above and beyond for the guests. Everyone really enjoyed all of the food as well. It was a perfect event. Thank you Palmettos for a perfect shower!
This is a great place to eat. I never order fish at restaurants. This was delicious. I ordered the Mai Mai with crabmeat on top and vegetables. A little pricey but WELL worth it. We will definitely be back.

Amazingly delicious food. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Chef Daniel is approachable and very personable. Everyone made my dinning experience one of the best. There are a variety of choices on the menu for everyone. Palmettos on the Bayou is a hidden jewel of South Louisiana and Chef Daniel is the Master Jeweler. I highly recommend Palmettos on the Bayou.
