Not enough food for the price. Very good food but the servings were sparse. Left the restaurant hungry.
Beautiful restaurant right on the bayou. Loved the ambiance. Pretty limited and kind of pricey menu.... but the food was very good. I'll be back.
Came this morning to have the brunch, was unaware we needed reservations. No where on this site did it say make reservations for father's day. We were turned away and the couple that came in after us was seated without reservations. Very disappointed. I don't think we will be returning.
I'm from northern michigan and we come to slidell 2- 3 times a year and this restaurant is a must every time! They have the best service and spectacular food!!! If you've never been to Palmetto's your definitely missing out!!!!!
The food was great, no complaints. However, I would implore the owners to do something to make the handicapped access cleaner, a lot less smelly, and pave it. The ramp area is dirty and fly infested with the garbage just sitting there. I had several members in my family on walkers and the walk just to get to the handicapped ramp is very long and difficult to get to. The smell was disgusting and we were swatting away flies. My husband and I went for the Sunday Jazz Brunch yesterday!! Thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and an excellent waitstaff! We will be back and bring our family.
