Googled a place to eat in Slidell, so glad we went there, service, atmosphere and food were great. Y'all have a real gem in the most perfect setting. Everyone was so friendly. The shrimp and grits were prepared they way I like them, don't care for mushy grits. First time for pork belly, so good!!!!!hubby had the Best pork chop ever. We are from Gulfport, Ms came over to buy Loto tickets, and we will be back. Oh and we sat outside, WOW how beautiful!!!! If we win the lottery guess who will get some of that. 👍😊
If it's Saturday night please get a true bartender. Crab cakes not good. They use to be about 3 menus ago. BBQ shrimp Poboy was so Yummy, no longer on the menu. The pork app, nope. Cheese plate was very good. Mixed drinks were good once we finally received them. Really Cool Atmosphere and outside area. Wish they would bring some of the old itiems back!! Food was three stars. Sunday brunch is usually yummy but it's been awhile since I've enjoyed that.
The food was fine, but the service was terribly slow. We sat down at 7pm and didn't get our entreés until 8:15pm. We were looking for a nice simple meal with family who had come in from out-of-town, but instead it took 2.25 hours just to get the food and eat.
It took us about 2 hours to get our food. The food was not good. It was a total let down. ���
