RecommendedThis place is great. They are honest, and in 40 plus years, they are the only mechanic shop that has ever told me "you don't need that right now". This is certainly my new auto shop. Best in Lexington by far.
RecommendedI came by with no appointment when my car literally started to shake going down Hwy 1. I was greeted by an younger guy who was very friendly (and cute lol) and told him what was going on. He was extremely knowledgeable and they took my car in right then. After they looked at it, and found out what was wrong it was going to be awhile before it would be ready. RecommendedI made my first ever trip to Palmetto State early this afternoon as Hurricane Florence was about to roll in. I met Mike as I was walking in. He had just closed for the day in order to allow people to take shelter there during the storm if they needed it. He went ahead and quickly had two turn signal bulbs changed out for me in a very short amount of time while he made preparations. RecommendedI have been coming to Palmetto pretty much since they opened. I have never seen a group of guys who care more about the people than the money. They remind me of the old school shops of the past. I highly recommend them because of their honesty, and knowledge. Definitely a gem of a place to get your car worked on.
