Absolutely unacceptable experience. If you’re in serious pain or facing a true emergency, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I waited over 2 hours just to be placed in a room, then sat there another 3 hours before seeing the only doctor on duty, who was clearly overwhelmed and rushing between patients. During that time, I personally witnessed 4 people walk out without ever being seen—some after waiting for hours. I asked Google to pull up directions for an emergency room for my infant son and it took me to this "naa it can wait 3 hours" room just drive to Columbia it'll be faster than waiting here
Went on a Thursday near lunchtime, like fast food these reviews are mostly from people who had bad experience. I was able to get in, processed, and thoroughly checked out in a very reasonable time with almost no wait as waiting room was pretty empty but people were inside. Not discounting anyone's experience here but the ones that were happy rarely take time or are motivated to leave a positive review.
It was definitely a long wait but understandable because there was an accident and they were priority. All the staff were very kind to me and understanding of my situation and based on the shouting I heard in the hallways, they were dealing with a lot. My only complaint is that I do think I was forgotten about. My partner had to track down a nurse to track down the doctor after waiting another 2 hours in the procedure room (we had already been there since 6pm and it was 10:50pm at this point).
