The podiatrist, Dr. Palmer, wrote a prescription for a Dover shoe store, even though they had shoe fitting and ordering there. I called and explained that would be at least 2 trips- over 160 miles. Donna told me that my insurance company told her they didn't cover diabetic shoes unless they had braces. She didn't know who she talked to, but when I called United Healtcare, they had a record of her call and different info. The person who fitted the shoes was cordial. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. Dr. Palmer is very nice and does his job well, but his wife is the sweetest physicians' wife I've ever met and she works well and is good at what she does also. It takes a while to get an app't. but that speaks for itself.....He has alot of patients!
The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out.
