I have been under the psychiatric care of Dr. Michael Palmen for many years. I have been under psychiatric care my entire adult life, and I can easily say that Dr. Palmen has, by far, been the most helpful, knowledgeable, thoughtful, thorough, and overall caring psychiatrist in all my years of treatment. This was the most terrible incompetent doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life, I thought he'd be perfect for me considering I suffer from a lot of the things he claims to treat on his website, he asked a bunch of questions about my family, and made me walk around and touch my nose. I left there with no kind of psychiatric management or counseling and refused to pay him. He charges $500 and he doesn't accept most insurance, and if he does it's out of network .
