I just transferred from another dental office and was completely satisfied with my first visit to Dr. Shepherd. I had a set of full mouth X-rays, teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment. His staff is excellent (especially Steve Wood, my hygienist), the equipment is state of the art, and the fee was quite reasonable. I highly recommend this office.
I knew and respected Dr. Scott Shepherd and so I began seeing him as my dentist shortly after I moved here many years ago. He proved to be an excellent choice for me: thoroughly professional and up-to-date in all aspects of dental practice; a caring and patient practitioner who always listens to a patient’s observations and questions; and a dentist with a graceful and gentle style. I just came in for my first appointment and I must say I was impressed from the time I came into the front door. I was greeted by the friendly staff. I was then taken for my exam and xrays and again I was impressed by the warm and friendly exchange. Then I met Dr. Shepherd and was blown away by his friendly approach and informative exam. So glad I came and it may sound weird but I look forward to my next visit.
Always a friendly and professional visit at this place. All costs and options explained upfront, with knowledgeable staff and Dr Shepherd was quick and pain free.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been going there since Dr. Shepherd took over the practice, but it helps overcome the “fear of going to the dentist” when everyone is so warm and welcoming in addition to to being highly skilled and professional in their work. Friendliness aside, I really appreciate Trish’s tips for maintaining dental hygiene at home — it’s been a while since I’ve had a cavity and my teeth are a shade whiter than they were a year ago.
