Hello I texted the fine folks at desert private collection classics and inquired about a Porsche listed as clean title but car fax showed as totaled.. I wanted to know why they had car listed as clean title. Well Dimitri Cala me and explained why car fax and he the dealer had this discrepancy .. and I said if he could show me clean title we could make a deal.. he did and I did! After 30 years, I found myself in the position to finally purchase my dream car. My criteria was that it had to be presentable, and drivable. I didn't want a museum piece, but I also didn't want a restoration project that would be laid up for years before it could be driven. Purchased a car in full Feb 2025. I asked when they were going to send the title. They said that they sent it and provided me with a picture. They didn’t put my full address. It was delivered elsewhere and lost. When I asked for a duplicate, they said it wasn’t their fault. Even though they clearly messed up the address.
