I stumbled across the Palladiom-Times due to a Facebook post in a group I follow. The decline of local news over the last 20 or so years and the subsequent takeover by huge corporations is a phenomenon that I find very upsetting! The Palladium-Times is apparently unique among "old school" newspapers - they don't need new subscribers! Over a week ago I paid for delivery + online access, primarily because my father just moved in with me and he loves to start his day by reading the local paper, with a cup of coffee. Despite the P-T charging my credit card the day I subscribed, we have yet to see a paper copy of the paper delivered.
