As you enter this seafood restaurant, you walk onto a suspended bridge with iron railings. Starfish, crayfish and other marine life swim up to greet you. Lights dot the high ceiling for a starry quality. Blown glass hangs delicately from the ceiling to complement the warm, upscale Polynesian-style surroundings. Seafood specialties include Opah (a Hawaiian fish also known as Moonfish), served with a papaya, mango and pepper salsa, and apple-wood-grilled Hebi (Spearfish). More standard dishes include Ellensburg Lamb and New Yo... read more

A bit of Paradise The Palisades reminds me of being in Hawaii. I love the building and its tropical feel. Even if you don't go for their wonderful dinners, its a great place for appetizers and drinks. Especially on one of those sunny Seattle days.
Exquisite sunday brunch or anytime Classy without being snobby, Palisade is a must for any Seattle-ite who wants to entertain out-of-town guests or simply give themselves a nice treat. The Sunday brunch is particular nice, with an excellent buffet of fresh fruits, delictable hot entrees, and other treats. On a sunny day, the view of the marina and a bit of downtown Seattle is not to be missed. Kids will enjoy feeding the fish in the open-air aquarium underfoot.
cannot describe how good it was – the best food i have possibly ever tasted were the crab legs and salmon here. its pricey but worth every dime. the service was incredible, as well, and the kitchen will make any combination of selections you want. they aim to please. i have been lucky to have dined in some incredible places, and this is top notch.
Early Dinner Specials – My wife and I took advantage of the early dinner special (4pm to 6pm, I believe)-----it was a delicious 3-course meal with no lessening of quality, presentation or service due to this time-sensitive special offering (quite unusual for a gourmet establishment)---a very rewarding dining experience----they deserve their great reputation.
Was my favorite – Overall it is a very good restaurant. But with new chef coming over their menu changed dramatically and a lot of great stuff disappeared. Service is always great, they have great e-marketing tool that attracts a lot of customers. Dine there and find for yourself whether this place is right for you. By the way - try Waterfron Seafood Grill - it is my favorite seafood restaurant now.
Bad brunch - I still can't get over it! – Had heard some mixed reviews. First thing I noticed was not the view but how badly the fake plants needed dusting. The buffet was Boring, 3-4 pasta salads swimming in their own mayo sauces, fruit which looked great but was disappointingly bland (except the pineapple), and nothing that impressive sweets-wise. Had the crab strata, $24, basically an egg-loaf and a waste of crab meat with hard crust on the top.The bill was outrageous of course, I could tell that before I ate but it was a ... read more
sox stayed securely on feet – after knowing for yrs that this is a destination restaurant & frequently seeing limo's outside, i expected the food to knock my sox off. well, that didn't happen. definitely, the ambience is great & so was the service, the food was much too over priced ($75 for 1 shared salad, 2 entrees, no wine, and we used a coupon) and our crab & halibut combo was just ok. it wasn't bad, but i had expected it to be spectacular & it wasn't. i would like to go back, tho, and try out another dish & 1 of their ri... read more
Very nice people – The table was ready with a birthday card for my wife and a few rose petals. My wife wasn't sure about a particular wine, the waitress was more than happy to bring her a taster before making a decision. Then my wife couldn't decide between two different entrees, so the waitress suggested that she could combine them for one plate...which my wife was a little surprised, but loved the result. Several different people were very attentive to us as they went about their jobs, offering to take our picture together... read more
Beautiful View – We went to Palisade with my husband for a Sunday brunch and loved it! The view is superb and the atmosphere is great. The open buffet featured fresh exotic fruits, various salads and delicious pastries as well as mini pancakes with nuts inside. The service was impeccable and our waitress was very polite and attentive. I would recommend this place, especially for special occasions and for out of town guests.
