As you enter this seafood restaurant, you walk onto a suspended bridge with iron railings. Starfish, crayfish and other marine life swim up to greet you. Lights dot the high ceiling for a starry quality. Blown glass hangs delicately from the ceiling to complement the warm, upscale Polynesian-style surroundings. Seafood specialties include Opah (a Hawaiian fish also known as Moonfish), served with a papaya, mango and pepper salsa, and apple-wood-grilled Hebi (Spearfish). More standard dishes include Ellensburg Lamb and New Yo... read more

For a special event... – This restaurant is expensive, however, for a special event I would highly recommend it. The waitstaff is wonderful and will be very honest with you about what to order. They offer recommendations and great service. I am not an expensive restaurtant diner, however, this is the ONLY place I will recommend for that high priced meal. It is worth it. Great view, beautiful inside, terrific food (I really like being able to order off the first seating menu - it is surely a value). Try the ice cream dessert ... read more
Most romantic restaurant! Somebody please propose to me here! This is one of my top ten. Most romantic restaurants. Perhaps, it's the cascading steps into the restaurant...the decor? The food is 5 stars. Service is excellent. Views...the arrangement, it's an experience. I will always love this restaurant, and their clam appetizer.
One of the best restaurants in Seattle! I love this restaurant because of the atmosphere and the outstanding food! If you have a special occasion, this is the place to go. I always get the salmon there and it is always amazing. Last time we got the banana icecream and it is soo good. I highly recommend it.
Grossly overrated tourist trap – My wife and I dine out frequently. We chose Palisade for her birthday dinner and so informed the restaurant. She ordered salmon medium rare. This is Seattle. The featured BBQ Salmon was overseasoned and overcooked. The replacement salmon was sent back raw as if the cook staff was passive aggressing us. My dish was also improperly cooked. The wine list was brilliant and saved the night but the food was inexcusable for a top of the line restaurant especially since they knew the night was a spec... read more
Seafood was very dry and bland – I was looking forward to eating at Palisade for my birthday dinner. I heard they had really good seafood. However, my boyfriend and I were very disappointed in the seafood. It was very dry, overcooked and bland. We spent over $120 for dinner (a bottle of wine and two entrees) and we feel like we did not get our money's worth. We will not be returning patrons and want to warn others to choose another restaurant if they want fresh, tasty seafood.
Reservations are not priority Every time I've gone to this restaurant (which has been at least 15 times) I have the best food, the most beautiful views, and beyond elegant dining. However, getting to the table is probably the most difficult thing I've dealt with since finals. The last 4 times I've gone there, I've brought 7 people with me. We've made reservations DAYS beforehand, and still we wait 20+ minutes to be seated AFTER our reservation time. Certainly they compensate with delicious appetizers, and copious apologies, ... read more
My favorite I think the Palisades should be voted Seattle's finest restaurant. There are steak houses and steak houses and seafood places galore but none match the atmosphere, price and food of the Palisades.
Great atmosphere The Palisades is often overlooked by many people who just don't even know its there. They have great food, incredible scenery and much finer atmosphere than most other restuarrants in Seattle. Their view is to die for. Even if you go just to the bar and have an appetizer you'll always feel a little like being in the tropics.
Top notch When I ran a limo business this was the most popular place to take a loved one. It is also one of the most expensive. The decor is very nice wish and has a well kept fish pond in the entrance. The food is really good on the level with Canlis. I like the hard wood decor and the bar area is open and friendly. The appitizers are very good the lobster bree is super good.
Palisade has a 4.3 star rating with 2,546 reviews.
Palisade is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
