As you enter this seafood restaurant, you walk onto a suspended bridge with iron railings. Starfish, crayfish and other marine life swim up to greet you. My first choice – This restaurant is always my first choice when I want to have a nice dinner out or a great place to take guests. The food is wonderful and I have always had excellent service. The view is beautiful for dining. I love this place. Nice job Palisade!
Romantic and good for out of town guests! – I was taken here for my birthday with a group of 10. The service was great, we all enjoyed our meals. The only issue was one of us did order our steak Medium well and got it medium rare, but he also didn't complain to the waittress for them to fix it, which I am sure they would have. (Also, who spends that much on a steak to ruin it by having it overcooked? whatever - no accounting for my friend's taste!) BAd food and service with a view – Terrible service and food. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to have a good northwest style meal with a view. Well, we got our view but not much else. I would however recommend the happy hour at the bar. It is reasonably priced and the food is okay. Don't waste your money, go to Scotts instead. – You pay for the view at Palisade, not the food quality. Once again I see it as a chef who cares more about being fancy than putting out the best meal. Most chefs I know are not into it for the diner, they are into their own egos. Don't get me wrong it is a great place to impress a date and you won't walk in the door without dropping a couple hundred dollars (not including drinks) But if you want food quality and better prices go to Scotts in Edmonds. Great service, average food – Many people I know consider this to be their favorite Seattle restaurant. My wife and I have been there a handful of times, and have always come out thinking it's just OK. Their service is solid, but that's what I expect from an expensive restaurant. I've never left thinking the food was unbelievably good - only that it was OK considering how much I paid. It's a nice dining experience considering how much everything costs, but don't expect too much from the food - nothing special.
Fantastic View...Excellent Service...Excellent Food Unbelievable service...Palisade's sent a complimentary limo to our hotel to pick our party up and drop us back at the hotel at the end of our business dinner. The view of the Seattle skyline and marina were outstanding. We experienced 1st class service and the food was excellent. A truly magnificent dining experience.
Great View, Restful Atmosphere, but Only Average Food – When you have out of town visitors and the weather is decent, it is hard to beat Palisades. It has a terrific view of Elliott Bay and Mt. Rainier. The decor is relaxing and the service is fine. However, the food is unexciting. They claim all of their seafood is very fresh, but that doesn't mean it is the highest quality, or even tasty. Top Notch Service and Great Food!! – I recently got engaged in Los Angeles and took my bride-to-be to Seattle to dine in their finest restaurants. My hotel recommended Palisade and called them and told them that we were going to celebrate our engagement at their restaurant. Palisade delivered! Great food, great service, great restaurant!!! – This is my first time ever leaving a review for a restaurant, I wanted to share how wonderful my experience was. I had never gone to Palisade before and decided to take my family (who's from out of town) there for Easter Brunch. Since we made reservations (recommended), we didn't wait long to get our seat.
