The chefs here are amazing, the food is amazing and they make you feel like family. 10 out of 10
Palais came out of nowhere and smoked the soul food competition. Their food is packed with flavor and the portions are huge. You can definitely get 2 meals out of one entree. The herb crusted chicken was juicy and very well seasoned. No toughness or gristle. The yams were perfectly sweetened and yet not sitting in a soup of syrup like many others tend to do. Love their food!!! Very well seasoned, super friendly customer service, and to top it off they’re not stingy with how much food they put on the platters. This really a sneaky good spot.
Service was good, waiting time was excellent. But… chicken was dry (maybe because it’s grilled), rice was ok. Potato salad was delicious! Pretty average food.. cost was roughly $23.00
