A grateful Customer At Starbucks, I understand customers are allured to the "experience". The same is true with the Palace- and with its owner, Linda. I actually enjoy sitting, watching the people, listening to Linda and the responses of her customers. I witness firsthand the quality caliber of the "cross section" of McKinney's citizenry- and Linda treats all with the respect of royalty- from the Doctors to the tradesmen- from the children to the retirees. William Bruce Super friendly people! Linda is only the fourth or fifth owner of the business since it began in 1892! Brenda and Brian are experienced and will do what you want them to do with a smile on their face!
Too old fashion This place is old fashion. You go in have a seat and then they try to figure out whose next???? I waited one Sat. morning for almost an hour and was next up and she took someone else!!! I knew she took the wrong person, so did the guy but she said no "he was here first". After all that time, I just walked out. I'll never go back there. If like waiting around and then hoping they pick the next person in line-good luck. Go somewhere else!
Best Barbershop in North Texas This place is no frills and they cut hair one way: short. $14 for a fade and a hot lather shave around the ears is a bargain! SportClips, Great Clips, SuperCuts, they all charge more and no way do they have the clipper skills that they have at Palace Barbershop.

Palace Barber Shop If you are looking for an old fashioned head to the square on McKinney. For men this is the good, consistent, basic haircut. Haircuts around $14 includes old style shave behind ears and back of neck. Best time to go is mid-day, no reservations taken. There is a wait time early in the morning. Theresa W.
Heck of a Barber Shop This is by far the best barbershop in Northern Collin County, Linda and Jr are a cut above the rest and good down to earth people! If your looking for a great haircut and a good ole barbershop you have looked in the right place! As far as the gentleman who thought this shop hours were a little Frey, they are now open on Saturday's All Day, which makes it a little easier to plan when to go in!!
Old Times are Great Times Any of these barbers are top notch seasoned professionals. Just good solid people as you would expect in Downtown McKinney on the Square. As far as the lady who owns it apparently now, she is a fine Christian woman and works hard.
