Update: every year people have picked up pumpkins in November for feed and this year 2 women that could not be bothered to be polite informed me first that I could buy them and when I explained all the years past precedent she said they'd be put out Monday then come Monday they were not there. Another woman said they were no good so they'd already gone to compost. After driving through the back I see ALL OF THE PUMPKINS GOING IN THE GARBAGE THAT WERE PERFECTLY FINE. Dave was super friendly and helpful! I stopped in a few weeks ago to get plants to replace some dead ones near a hot tub at my business. Dave took the time to understand what we were going for and offered great suggestions that worked perfectly in the space. Highly recommend!
I’ve always felt this place is overpriced for much of what they sell, but today I also found out how stingy they can be. They were running a Labor Day sale with 50% off tropical plants. Before going, we specifically asked if a Chinese fan palm was included in the sale and were told yes. At the store, we picked one out, brought it to the counter, and were then told that Chinese fan palms are considered houseplants, not tropicals, so the discount didn’t apply.
