Pagliuca's Restaurant is another one of the very small Italian restaurants that calls the North End home. Pagliuca's serves traditional Italian cuisine which is standard home-style fare with several antipasto choices and many pasta selections. The menu also features some quality seafood or chicken entrees. There isn't much in the way of atmosphere here with paper place mats on the tables and linoleum-covered floors but the food and prices more than make up for it. Alcohol is served.

The most terrible lunch I ever had in my life – I cannot believe that the reviews here are so positive. We asked for recommendations from the waitress and she said everything was good and she just ignored us and serve the other tables. Then, we ordered a meatball and sausage pasta. The meatball angel hair came without meat ball and I raised this issue to her. She didnt say anything and then turn around to the kitchen direction. After 5 minutes, she came back with two meatballs without saying anything. The pasta is dry with o... read more
OK, but better choices in the North End – Nothing especially exciting about this North End eatery. The pasta and sauces are average as the North End goes, the salad was fine, the bread was fine. I'd like to give you a more decisive review, but the truth is nothing especially stood out as great or poor. It is a little bit less expensive than other sit down places on Hanover, but this I'd probably just pass on this one.
highly recommended – I have lived in the Boston area and tried many of the North End restraunts, but Pagliuca's would have to be my favorite. The food is fantastic and the price is right. They serve the best fettuccini alfredo I have ever had and the chicken felix is amazing. The wine list is small, but they have a good selection. The wait can be long on weekends or holidays, but it is worth the wait. The atmosphere is wonderful and, although the inside of the restraunt is small, it is worth waiting for a table.
NOT RECOMMENDED – My boyfriend and I had dinner at Pagliuca's last week and have never had such a pitiful experience in the North End. The best part of the meal was the bread brought out at the beginning. My boyfriend had the veal filled with meatballs and while it sounded amazing on the menu, it was oversalted, tough and too boring for something that had veal and meatballs combined. I went very traditional with Eggplant parmesan, which cames with a side of pasta. The sauce on both Eggplant and pasta needs salt, some garlic ... read more
Great Food – Come here for the food. The wine list is small, the service is slow, the wait is forever, it's crowded, and the food more than makes up for all of that. Everyone I've ever been here with has loved their meal. The seafood is particularly great.
Your part of the family here! – This place makes you feel like part of the family. Your plates are overful & the staff is nice but brisk, there just busy. Two waitresses on on a Friday night is tough. The food is like what your off the boat Grandmother would cook for you in her kitchen, and the size of the place makes you feel like you are in her kitchen, it's real small. For starters get a Michael's special (rosted peppers, cheese, salami, escrole, etc. all warm) The best dishes are the roasted veal, chicken Felix, veal Sal... read more
