Purchased a dryer from Page Hardware 2 years ago. Within 2 months, our dryer was ruining our clothes. We had many service personnel from GE and the warranty company tell us nothing was wrong with dryer. Kept getting sent in circles. Finally contacted Page Hardware, spoke with Mike and Nick. After discussing the issue with them, they quickly sent one of there personnel to look at the dryer. They made a few changes, but were not able to remedy the problem. I have lived in Guilford all my life, I’ve bought several appliances there. Recently when they heard me say one of their appliances, long out of warrantee, was not working, they sent a repairman free of charge to fix it. This is why you shop small, if I told this to a big box store, they would have shrugged their shoulders and asked me what I wanted to buy today. I consider them the gold standard of hardware stores. Always ready to help with everyday questions and big issues like this. Thank you!
