RecommendedOur first Chowdown Destination for Pizza Month was Padrino Italian in Old Milford. We come here often because our office is minutes away and we live on this part of town. I come here specifically, for the gluten free pizza crust. First, I am not on a gluten free diet, nor do I have any gluten allergies. However, my wife and I were doing the Whole 30 diet a few months ago and that was when I was introduced to this spectacular crust. Don't get me wrong, the regular crust is great... Good pasta, good salad, good beer. Approval obtained.
Padrino is my favorite, go-to restaurant. My husband and I LOVE their Buffalo Chicken Salad. But the pizza is also delicious! The ambience is warm and inviting and the wait-staff are always friendly and efficient.
Lobster Mac was the best!! Lots of chunks of lobster. & plenty left to take home. Our waitress was terrific! And, the wine was superb! Can't wait to dine here again!
First time - great service by Courtney. The host, Jake, and manager, Keia, did a great job handling a large crowd.
