Great trip. Padre South Hotel is not fancy but it's clean and the location is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had a full kithen. And you can't beat the prices. We paid more for a room in Waco, on our way home, with a view of the gas station and IHOP.

The staff was great. Place is clean and fun. We took a group of high school kids and the hotel staff was very helpful.
It was good for what we needed at the time, but no amenities. No ice machine. I found that odd. But overall it was fine.
My fiance and I just stayed there on June 7th and 8th for my Birthday! We had a absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel was clean, pretty and right by the ocean! Our room was perfect and we celebrated my Birthday in style! The staff was also very nice! We especially loved the view from our balcony! We will definitely stay here again! Have a lovely day!
It's not the Ritz Carlton but serves its purpose. Your there to sleep and enjoy the awesome views and atmosphere. Been going for 28 years and I've not one complaint. When something is wrong I notify the staff and things get taken care of.
Recommended
Very clean. Staff very friendly. Would have gotten better rating but the beds are literally like sleeping on springs. I think springs would be an improvement.
