They called and told me my dad was there and I could call and check on him at any time, as he added me to his emergency contact list. Called tonight and the "charge nurse" was absolutely ATROCIOUS. She was rude, non sympathetic, and told me I can no longer ask and can only call his Power of attorney, his wife, which I did and she said nothing has changed and I should be able to call. Even if the rules have actually changed, that is absolutely no way to treat grieving family. Shame on her. Do better.
My angels on earth🙏🏼 The angels wearing scrubs, and the angel volunteers provided love and skilled care, which allowed my family and me to simply be with my husband. The staff was so kind, gentle and supportive, all provided in a serene and truly beautiful setting. I am forever grateful. Every hospice provider should offer this type of environment for when higher levels of medical care are required to maintain comfort for the patient.
My mother got to spend the last nine hours of her life here. They took amazing care of her and the staff was wonderful. We were so blessed she was transferred here. Words can't describe how wonderful her care was at the Pacifica House. From the volunteers, nurses and counselors. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
What an incredible place for a loved one to pass. My dear friend spent her last days here with the best, most loving and compassionate care. The facility is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are amazing! Not only are the patients well cared for, but the family and friends are also supported. A big thank you to the staff for their hospiality, kindness and empathy.🙏❤️
