This is the most luxurious sports club I've ever seen. Their are indoor pools out door pools, tennis, raquetball, basketball, and many diffrent groups for young and old. After getting your excercise you can eat at the cafe or warm up infont of the fire. They manage you activities and set everything up. The bathrooms have an inside sauna and tv's to watch while showering. It smells great not like a sweaty old gym. The entrance seems more or less like you are entering a hotel.
Great Athletic Club Great Club. Clean. Gym is great. Trainers are professioinal. Snack shop is very clean and the food is good and reasonable. Spa on premisies. # pools. Good children's athletic instruction.
Health club meets country club The Pacific Athletic Club is an amazingly beautiful and expansive facility. It not only has tennis courts and three outdoor swimming pools but up-to-date traditional gym facilities plus squash courts and group exercise rooms. My most exciting moment was when I saw Jerry Rice working out there. They also have a nice cafe for a casual snack after working out and a more full-service restaurant which is pleasant. Great place for pilates I enjoy this gym. Upscale environment, clean facilities and helpful staff. I mostly go for pilates, but the rest of the gym is quite enjoyable as well.
Great workouts and pool Love this club. It has high quality machines and classes, and a lot of equipment. It gets crowded, catering to the corporate tech crowd, in the mornings and early evenings. During the days its great for stay-at-home moms as they have a great babysitting service and you can also stay for lunch. Spa vacation at home Pacific Athletic Club has something for everyone-great group exercise classes, squash, tennis, spa, salon, pools, kids' activities, dining room and snack bar. Its a terrific family health club.
Great Grilled Cheese Okay so I don't know much about the catering except that it's always good when they use it for events like my swim team awards. The actual cafe within the PAC club is soooo good and offers a variety of salads, pastas, hamburgers, amazing smoothies, pizza, etc. My absolute favorite however childish it might be is their grilled cheese. Very nice but too pricey! all things considered, this is not a place I would consider or recommend. I was on a free pass for 2 weeks and while the amenities were very nice, the clientele was a bit snobish and it was way too expensive, I say that even though i can afford it. you can get everything at almost any other club for a fraction of the price.
For the rich this is indeed a world class gym/spa and all the services they offer are excellent. They have all the amenities you could possibly want and the place is kept extremely well and clean. The only drawback is that you have to be able to afford it as it is very expensive. you get what you pay for.
