Best Workout on The Big Island Pacific Island Fitness I think this gym has the best classes and instructors on the Big Island. I took Katie Moore's spin class and it kicks butt. She has great energy and she is extremely motivating. She also teaches Zumba and it is the busiest class there. There are probably over 50 people in there . . it is sexy, its fun and boy is it a workout. This is the place to go for Zumba. Update on Pacific Island Fitness It is now June 18th 2008 - and Pasqual has made an incredible difference in the Fitness facility. New Treadmills, Ellipticals, Floorings AND he is currently adding a Mezzanine floor to increase the number of cardio machines and stretching area. All the "construction" phase issues have been dealt with. Chidcare is now handled by "Kids' Corner" nearby with a pass issued by the gym. Main gym is cooled by a HELIPCOPTER sized fan blade that works really well.
