After months of debilitating spine problems that resulted in me barely being able to walk & unable to stand I was referred to Dr. Oshtory. I’d had cervical & lumbar MRIs done prior to seeing him. After nine failed back surgeries I was miserable for 20 years. I was referred to Dr. Oshtory by my pain doctor. After a few appointments Dr. Oshtory told me he could fix me. I am fused from S1 to T10, standing straight, playing golf and have my life back. He is an absolute miracle worker. I recommend Dr. Oshtory to anyone who feels they want the best to fix what ails them.
Dr. Oshtory is calming, easy to talk to, and a genius. The technique he developed for spinal fusion worked for me extremely well. I had my L4-L5 fused, and I could walk the next day with less pain than I had before the surgery. After talking with three other surgeons, they did not have the modern techniques or spot all of my issues. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my spine.
I had so much pain and sometimes felt like the top half of my body was falling off the bottom half. Thanks to Dr. Oshtory I have zero pain. I had a lateral microdiscectomy and lumbar fusion, traveled to San Francisco for the surgery during covid, and the surgery was a 100% success. He did follow up zooms with me when possible - I only needed to have one more in-person visit following the surgery, which was helpful since we no longer live in the Bay Area.
