Their "new account" update has screwed up many people's accounts (including mine) and now they want me to pay on the phone, incurring a fee I normally wouldn't otherwise have to pay. But for PGE pushing through a glitchy program update and making my account/website not working, I would be able to pay normally without an unnecessary and additional fee. I'm on day 2 of the glitch and still no resolution from PGE.
Horrible costumer service. Representative was very rude
PG&E has been canceling and returning my payment after it has been taken out of my account so they can charge me a late fee. This has happened a few times. I like to pay my bill online but I do not have automatic payment set up. I entered in my account info so I did not have to pay the surcharge for using my card. The payment is usually processed within 5 days. The money is removed from my account and I get instant alerts when the money is removed.
