Frequently packed, the dining room hums with noise but never screams. The understated, casual decor makes it malleable enough for romance or a family meal. One of my favorite places in all of San Francisco. The BEST seafood IMHO (they even have ABALONE! You have to sell your car to afford it, but oh. my. god.) The rest of the menu is far more reasonably priced. Just the abalone is expensive. They greet you at the door (or in line while you wait for a table to open up) with a free glass of the house red or white. This has been a tradition since the beginning and it's such a lovely touch. The food is delicious! Best crab cakes ever..enjoyed the atmosphere and great customer service. Free wine while you wait is a great perk. Worth the wait ;)
