Pacific Beach AleHouse is a beach front kitchen and brewery. Recently brewer Jonathon Rielly joined the team and will be bringing a fresh perspective to our house beers in late August. Chef Eric Sarkisian continues to be at the helm of our craft kitchen and has put together a re-opening menu that highlights some of AleHouse's classic dishes and while giving a preview of the full menu that's coming soon. Wow, totally awesome ambiance. Totally nailed the Pacific Beach coastal decor. The food totally scored high marks along with the people. Great food, and server's along with an awesome beach dinning experience. We had a good friend visiting from China who lives in a beautiful coastal town there and she totally loved this place as well. My first time there. Good food and service. Nice view.

Great atmosphere, great service and really great food. Had the meat and cheese platter with the lobster/crab Mac n cheese.
Now, I've been there before and it's fun. But last night, for some reason the servers and bartenders were just kind of rude. When our server was leaving, she asked if we wanted to transfer or close out. We said we'll transfer, and she says " just so you know, I don't get tipped" but mad at us. Um.... We didn't know. Don't be mad at us if your policy at work is wrong. Where we work, tips go with the transfer.

It took so long to get service at my table , I just went to the bar to order my food and drink and it wasn't even busy. The food was tasty and hot just how I like it, but I couldn't enjoy my food because I ordered another set of drinks and it took way to long to where I was getting frustrated. I calmed down and got rid of my resting bitch face ( mad look ) and put a smile on my face. That smile got my bill 15 seconds after i asked for it. At least they where fast at getting me out of there.

Fresh food, excellent beer, perfect rooftop bar experience, and stunning view of Pacific Beach. You could try to beat this place...but you'd lose.
