I have been to many sushi places as I am from NY. First thing is first - definitely the best sushi place in baltimore (but this isn't saying much). The sushi is fresh, however, it is definitely not worth the price. The pieces are tiny and I know it means that the fish is more expensive/fresh. However, I have been back to this restaurant several times and the owners also say "hi welcome back, etc." We talked to the owners all the time as well as the sushi chefs. This is the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been! All foods are awesome. My favorite is"Happy spoon". Amazing! I ordered twice a dining. This spoon made me happy! Lol And service is great, too. I'm Japanese. Now I can recommend this restaurant!
My fiancee and I went for dinner at this place recently, and it is one of the best restaurant experiences I've had. Unlike many restaurants in Baltimore, this place does not appear cramped. In comparison with most of the restaurants in Harbor East the prices here are moderate. I liked the waiter we had, and the 300ml sake we ordered was half-price due to happy hour! All the food was delicious, and we ate every bit of it.
Japanese food. Excellent sushi, a large selection of cold and hot small plates, most of which were excellent. (The roasted garlic and mushrooms skewers were a bit of a disappointment.) Good cocktails, bright and spacious interior, but the music was a tad loud when we were there.
