Here at P. Simpson's we're not stuffy people and don't really take ourselves too seriously! Lord knows we're not perfect or really that smart! Our special occasion go to! We have been here every year for their Mother's Day brunch. It's fantastic to find a non chain restaurant that treats you like family and appreciates your business. We have 3 small children and were given a table out of the way- with a very helpful server. It was a buffet and she tried to do everything she could to see that we had what we needed. Nice bar area, friendly management and staff. the food was excellent and priced moderately. A great find in the downtown area.

great Sunday Brunch and atmosphere – Been to P. Simpson's numerous times for dinner and decided to try the brunch this past Sunday after church. Wow! The cooked to order Eggs Benedict were to die for! Place was packed with smiling diners. Can't understand the prior bad rating. Maybe they had an off day or something like that. Can't say enough good about this place! You must try Brunch and Dinner!
bad brunch – 1st visit to the hometown grille. Had to try based on all the excellent reviews. The brunch was very disappointing. The food was scarce and the service was not so great. The buffet was poorly arranged with minimal serving at each station, The chicken-was empty- I tried three trips. The food was not warm. The deserts were bought-like Little Debbies. Mmm..mmmm. Good! Yesterday was my first time eating at P. Simpson's.It was absolutely wonderful. The enviroment was nice and relaxing and the servers were all pleasant. I had the "Patsy" sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. They used just the right amount of seasonings where it complimented the food instead of hid the flavor. I also tried the crabcake an it was the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.
