We went to Ozark House for the prime rib but arrived to late. So plan B I had fried oysters, rib eye and twice baked potato. My wife had the filet mignon. The steaks were garlic crusted, Outstanding. The fried oysters had a thick batter on them. I was hoping for a crispy batter. The decor was original to the building and I felt it added to the ambience of steak houses of olde. Over all it was a great meal, if you're coming for the prime rib come earlier than 6 pm. Next time we will have prime rib and the smoked ribs!
We haven't been to Ozark house in a long time. Our daughter made reservations for our anniversary. I had a steak and my wife had shrimp scampi. Both meals were delicious and service was excellent. The restaurant is gonna be back on the top of my list!!!
We had a great meal, The prime rib was excellent, and her fillet mignon was even better. The sides were exceptional, the soup was very tasty. You couldn't ask for any better service and to top it off the homemade cheesecake, wow.
In the past month both my son and a good friend have eaten here. Both had a meal that was fried. Both said it was way over cooked and couldn't hardly eat it. Both said it tasted horrible. Both got sick upon returning home from eating. Doesn't sound like it's the restaurant it used to be. Both also said that it looks like they haven't updated the inside since the place opened back in the 70's! Yuck!
