Will not ever go back. Food is to expensive. Hardley had any rides going. The kids got bored after 2 hrs and wanted to go home. Wasted all that money on wristbands and noone knew where you were suppose to get them. Never again. They honestly should just throw in the towel if they are not going to put effort into it.
Went there tonight and it was raining they said all the rides would open back up. Well they ended up shutting everything down and I paid 190 bucks to get all my friends and family in and wouldn’t even give me a ticket for another day. This is extremely and I do mean extremely crappy to do people. They told us there was other things to do like pet animals and eat food. I live on a farm and have animals. we went tonight 08/02/2019 spent over $300 and $170 was just to get in got to spend maybe an hour before the rain started and they closed down everything around 6pm and started kicking people out at 8pm with no refunds or even a hey come back tomorrow we got you not anything we will never go back again
We paid $90.00 for ride bracelets then it started to sprinkle so they stopped the rides. My daughter rode 2 rides I didn't get to ride any and they refuse to refund us as well as everyone else.
Every year the ride workers get even ruder than the year before and the ride times are a joke. We always have a huge group and all buy ride bands. But every year they close earlier and earlier and it becomes an absolute waste of money. If the hours say you are open until 11, you need to keep the rides going UNTIL 11. Just like last year we were getting on a ride just to get kicked right back off and then given attitude about it. We will not attend the fair again. I’d rather spend my money going to SDC where it’s appreciated.
With the town the size of Springfield a lot of Small town fair’s have more to offer. There is nothing in the E Plex or the midway anymore very disappointed.
did not have much fun. even on $3 day we could barely afford to do much. The camel ride was $10 for 1 kid and I said Nope. there used to be tones of free stuff but now all the booths are expinsive. they took out all my childhood favorites. And Do not ride the ferris wheel. that this scared the life out of me and my son. 1 star (and that’s being polite) I don’t want to completely hate on the fair, but to sum it up.....2019 was the absolute worst. 👎🏻 My family and I will not come back.
Come to watch the monster trucks, not go to the fair. Had to pay $10 just to get in on top of $15 for a ticket to the monster trucks! Extremely poor advertising! No signs up saying where to sit or direction on what to do. Plus to top it off, the hateful people of the Springfield area are there!!! Never again will I come up here.
