What happened to all the rides ? The fair used to be packed with rides everywhere and more than just 8 for adults and kids. Total waste of money ! Lack of entertainment. Poor recruiting .
An Ozarks Tradition! I've been going to the fair since before I was born and loved it every time! Yes it's hot (hello this is summer in Missouri) and yes it costs money (ever been to a free fair??) but if you're smart (buy advance tickets, cool off in the big, beautiful, free E-Plex, eat & buy drinks from the hometown folks (like the Beef House & the General Store) it will be a wonderful experience! Had tickets for rodeo and when we went the security staff was really rude .and when we got ahold of the general manager Aaron he was a dick and basically says it is ok for his security to be a dick and talk down on people.and when we asked to get the manager he said it was none of our business.so I give the fair a rating of negative 5 it is the most stupid and dum crap .you get told one thing and then told something totally different.and the staff needs to pull there head out of there asses and get on the same page.
We paid $20 each for PREMIUM seats to see Knights of Valour jousting. We had someone in our party that's disabled. We paid for the seating so we could watch the show together. When we were seated we found out there was a row of seats in front of us. We were crammed in like sardines and could not watch the show due to the row of people in front of us. The fair itself was fine. Lots of food vendors also but wanted a carpenters funnel cake but the girl working Tuesday around 630-7pm. Would not get off her phone to wait on customers. She just sat there as people would walk up to the window and then leave. To busy texting or whatever I guess. Must be a family member.
Great fun family event right here in our own backyard, we look forward each year.
I liked the fair in general , and I had a great time with my family and kiddos but before we left I went and got a caramel apple from the very first stand that sells them when you walk in and I didn't start eating it until we got in the car and headed out and it was molded !!! Im also pregnant!! So I was not very happy so please be careful especially if your buying for your children ! Picture in comments.
