It was the animals that caught my attention. We couldn't bring food in so we didn't eat there. They should accommodate people with food allergies. I have celiac disease and it would be nice for people to bring something in for them self and or there childeren.
I bought the wristband for both of my daughters online and when we get there it seemed like half of the good rides were no there making it a VERY boring day... all the fair is anymore I a high priced food court, my daughters don't want to go anymore we will find other options for next year
It is expensive if you go for rides, food and seller's booths were alright.
The exhibits keep going down each year. I'd say the fair's days are numbered. Even with the nice weather, has to rank as the worst fair ever.
I think the food is way over priced. The games are not worth the time or money. Rides were good for grand kids they enjoyed it. But I've seen much better fairs in other states. Price to get in plus the price of rides is crazy. People that work there are very interesting. Not! Would have rather spent the money at silver dollar city or go to Disney. Don't really care to go back myself.
My girls had fun. My biggest complaint is that some of the rides are "jankety." For example, there is a 3 ticket fun house. It was dirty. The fun house mirrors were broken and DUCT taped up. A lot of the rides were covered with duct tape as a quick fix. Also, my daughter's wristband was not secured properly, so it fell off after 5 minutes. We were told that if something happened to it, it will be replaced. Nope. I went to the fair to go see for King and Country and it was amazing going back tomorrow on Sunday I got in free for EVERYTHING!
Our 2 year old little girl had such a good time!! It was her first fair! Thank you for providing such a fun safe place for us to have enjoyed a great family outing. Good job Springfield!
