Had a burger and fries at The Oxbow Restaurant in De Smet. A down home restaurant with good food, friendly staff, and one heck of a blueberry pie a la mode!
Small town established restaurants are usually great. Menu says pilled high sandwiches. Not even close. Fries are 4 bucks for a plate. On a coffee plate. Nice server, I think she was embarrassed.
From a visitor from NC who has had hundreds of country fried steak had a GREAT dinner. The CFS was fabulous!! Service was great.
Fast and Friendly service! Reasonable prices and good selection on the menu!!!
