Dr. Shonuga is a wonderful doctor. He is the best there is. He saved my hands. He preformed carpal tunnel surgery on both my left and right hands and they healed beautifully and are working like new. No more pain and you cant even see the scar anymore. He is by far the best doctor I've ever had. He has wonderful bedside manor and I wish all doctor's had his skill and compassion. What an amazing doctor I highly recommend Dr. Shonuga.
I cannot recommend Dr. Shonuga. I’ve now had four visits for severe joint pain in my hand, which he first told me was bone-on-bone arthritis. After reviewing x-rays, he gave me a cortisone injection that only provided relief for three weeks. At my third visit, he suggested I might also have carpal tunnel and said surgery would be the next logical step, refusing to give another injection. I very strongly recommend Dr Shonuga and rate him the Best of the Best as a Hand Specialist. Dr Shonuga did an amazing surgical repair on my injured finger (pinky) after I cut it badly. Prior to surgery, my injured finger made it difficult for me to function normally (cut FDP and FDS tendon), it was my dominate hand. I couldn't perform the simplest task, i.e., grip a door knob, everything was difficult. I am so grateful for Dr. Shonuga's expertise, I have full function of my dominant hand once again. Very Thankful!
