RecommendedThey were prompt at fixing any issues when my son lived on Marshfield in Chicago. Bryon was very nice and also profesional. I just requested a copy of the cancelled lease agreement from 2018, but I was told by Glenn that it was not possible to find after a year. So I hope I get hold of someone else that will be willing to look it up for us. Ilva McBrayer.
They do not do any upkeep to the property. They don’t communicate well if at all. Apartment wasn’t cleaned before I moved in. They have no knowledge of the building. Can never answer my questions. Had to live for almost a month with 2 broken sinks, a broken stove, and a broken microwave. Finally when they fixed the microwave, the lady told me she had the microwave in her car for a week or two. Just didn’t want to come over to put it in. Horrible company. Will always avoid in the future.
company harases tenents they do not like, does not apply their own lease rules consistently. they pick and choose what they will enforce depending on who you are. Does not assist tenents with issues concerning noise policies that are in there own lease. destroyed tenent property and did even offer an apology. Dont walk away from Owl.....run!!
Terrible company! Will not return phone calls. Over a month late in turning on heat. Allowed toxic fumes to accumulate in building. You'll never hear from Justine once you get your name on the lease. But hey, it must be a fun place to work based on all the partying shown on their website. I guess they are too busy having fun to tend to tenants needs.
Completely ignoring complaints, not turning on heat, and breaking Chicago laws. Terrible company.
This company is worthless. The only communication they have with us is to make excuses. They don't care if someone tried to break in, if no one has heat, if there's water damage, mold, you name it. They just don't care once you sign that lease. Of course they act quickly when it comes to removing unfavorable social media posts, but not when tenants need them to do their job.
Our landlord hired this company so he could hide behind them and not have to deal with us. We're supposed to communicate our concerns about our building with Owl, but they do not have control over the resolution of said problems. They can only pass the information along to our indifferent landlord. I suppose this isn't Owl's fault, but they haven't provided us any benefit as tenants, so I can't say I recommend them either.
Can’t thank the folks at Owl Management enough for their level of service that went above and beyond that of any property management company I’ve worked with before. Their property management team including Vanessa and Rodrigo were so helpful when I required accomodations, and the rest of the staff was friendly too. I highly recommend looking into Owl’s property portfolio when considering your next move. Thank you!
Not a morally upstanding company. Suckered us in to a horrible lease, left us an uncleaned house with rooms full of trash. Fined us thousands for leaving some furniture when we left. Needless to say, was left in better conidition than it was found.
