Went to the Butcher Block today, dealt with the owner Owen. Fantastic customer service, reasonable prices for what you're getting. Picked up two New York Strips as part of my order, best steak we have ever had. Far cheaper and better tasting steak that you can get in any steak house in Indiana. We would highly recommend Butcher Block for anyone who is interested in high quality meat or poultry.
Honestly one of the best butchers I have ever worked with. He’s been super sweet, and straightforward with everything from day one. I asked him to go out of his way and smoke some pork chops for me from the hog I had butchered and he tried it for the first time and nailed it out the gate. The cuts are perfect not too much but not too little. I felt like I actually got my whole hog vs wondering where the rest is. I will NOT go anywhere else to have anything butchered or to get meat. Best fresh tasting meat in Mooresville! Owen takes great pride in all of the products he sells. It is always a pleasure to interact with him and ask questions. He is so positive and offers suggestions for how to prepare seasonings and methods of cooking. I have learned a lot. I will no longer will buy any meat from the grocery store.
