I am extremely disappointed in my closing on my property. And what should had been a very joyous day turned into a very stressful and infuriating event. Owens enjoys a good reputation and hopefully my experience was unusual. But I was never told I “HAD” to buy an owners policy.( which is legally false) I was paying cash and had no intention of purchasing an owners policy. I made that clear from the beginning.
