I had an injury in my fingers due to falling down in beach,however there was only one patient ahead of me however they took 3 hours only to make me sit from regular waiting area to fast track waiting area.Additionally there was no sign of doctor to the patient ahead of me who was waiting for i dont know how long.As compared to other emergency hospitals this hospital is the slow and well equipped staff ,though they cannot attend their patients on time .
Wow, what an amazing experience. Every little thing and detail was out of this world. The doctors and nurses, top notch. Can't say enough positive things!
As an "out of towner" I had to visit the Owen Sound hospital emerg for a fractured arm and was extremely impressed by how friendly the staff were. I was especially amazed by the volunteer in the emerg who checked in with patients, bringing warm blankets, water, and compresses. I have never seen/experienced this before in a hospital and it was so refreshing and very much appreciated.
Unfortunately iv been treated very unfairly by nurses at this hospital, I had a nurse tell me he wanted to give me an antibiotic for a UTI that they said I had, yet I had/have no symptoms of a UTI. So I started doing some of my own research and found out if you take an antibiotic for it without having symptoms there could be negative consequences to my health.
